Plan and buy earlier. March is the perfect time to grab your best deal for your summer trip. Usually, the earlier you plan, the better deal you will get. The low fare seats will be sold out quickly.

Travel on weekdays. Most airlines charges extra for traveling on weekends. So you save up to $100 for traveling on Monday through Thursday. Since some flights do not operate everyday, you might want to check flight schedules before selecting your travel date.

Avoid change. Plan well and try to avoid changing the travel dates. Most low fares are non-refundable, so read the change penalty carefully before buying your tickets. When making a change, you will pay not only the change penalty, but also the fare difference, which can be very high if low fares are sold out.

Be flexible. A few days of flexibility on your travel date can bring you huge savings. When booking, check Flexible Date, and tell our agent your flexible dates and alternative cities in the Special Needs section when submitting your booking request. On the fare search result page, you can see the lower fares others found about 15 days around your travel date.
